Who We Are
Hey there, it's Brooke and Stefanno, two animal lovers living in Brazil who refuse to sit on the sidelines!
Every day, we see cats and kittens struggling. Some were abandoned. Some grew up on the streets. Many die early due to disease, malnutrition, and encounters with vehicles.
Treating, feeding and finding homes for these cats is important. But if they're not spayed or neutered, the problem continues to expand.
One female cat can birth up to 180 cats in her lifetime. Those that survive will go on to birth more. It's safe to say a Bandaid won't fix this problem—the cycle needs to be broken.
While the government is working on a solution to help with animal control, any program could take years to implement. Meanwhile, more kittens are being abandoned and run over by cars every hour of every day.
With whole cities in need, spaying 100 cats may seem like a single drop in a bucket of water. But it also means thousands fewer cats on the streets.
I know what you may be thinking. Brazil seems a world away. Why should you donate outside your country? Think of it this way—you may not see them every day like we do, but that doesn't means they don't feel pain and hunger.
